Prisoner Transport

The Butler County Sheriff's Office is responsible for the transportation of individuals incarcerated or sentenced by the Butler County Courts. Tasks include transportation to and from the Courthouse, hospital and doctors visits, all State Correctional Facilities State Hospitals and out of state extradition.

Our deputies each log tens of thousands of miles in a small fleet of vehicles traversing the state and beyond performing their duties. Training and dedication play an important part of this job.
